When applying for scholarships at Hebei University, here are some points to know.- As an international student, I am eligible for two scholarship types - Governmental Scholarships funded by the Chinese government, and Tuition Scholarships which provides assistance with the tuition fee. I must apply for one or the other;
- Applications are free;
- HBU does not offer any scholarships for graduate programs;
- I can apply to as many scholarships as I like in one application form, but most cannot be combined with one another and only one acceptance will be issued. Look into my options before applying to more than once.;

Who Is Eligible
Hebei University will only recommend you for the CSC scholarship if you meet their requirements. As of 2022, they are:- You must be a citizen of a country other than China, with a sound mind and body
- There are different age limits depending on your degree level. You must be under 35 for Master’s programs and under 45 for higher degrees.
- To apply you have to have been pre-admitted to Hebei University - any other offer will disqualify you.
- Hebei University won’t nominate someone if he or she has an offer from another university already in place

Below are some instructions for filling out the CSC scholarship form, which is on the CSC website:
Go to the CSC site, create an account with your contact details, and then click on the “Online Application” button. Fill in your details on one of these application pages (if you're applying for more than one university). For each university there is a separate agency handling applications. Note down this agency number. Fill in this number onto this page of our application form when you get there via ""application ID/E-mail ID or Agency Number".
A different type of scholarship is available for different study levels - so choose the right level you qualify for. If there are any questions not answered that should be added please ask an officer/mentor/supervisor at school or college or email us at office@cscscholarship.org before submitting your application to register for any unanswered criteria send it back to cscscholarship@centralsouthuniversity.edu

- If your chosen university requires separate application forms, submit an application form as well as the CSC application form
- Double check your application to make sure all requirements are met before submitting
- Ask two professors at previous schools to write you reference letters
China Scholarship Council Application Deadlines
-The CSC scholarship can be applied for during the months of October through February.- The online form must then be submitted by April
- Selection occurs between May and June by Hebei University.
- After reviewing this application, they will approve your application for the scholarship in July to August so you can join the course in September, so submit your application soon!
